Schmidt & Bender only produces two kinds of scopes intended for competitive shooting: the 3-12 by 42 KK50 Small Caliber and the 12.5-50 by 56 Field Target II.

• 3-12 by 42 KK50 Small Caliber: Providing anywhere between 3 and 12 times magnification, and weighing a light 564 grams, this scope is intended for smaller caliber weapons. It also has a zero-backlash system that allows you to maintain precision aim, despite any recoil tremors at ranges of between 9 and 70 meters.
• 12.5-50 by 56 Field Target II: This scope is designed for more heavy-duty weapons in competitive shooting and provides anywhere between 12.5 and 50 times magnification of targets for high-precision long-range shots. The zero-backlash system also maximizes accuracy.

Schmidt & Bender manufactures a large number of hunting rifle scopes, many of which you can find on eBay. Since there are too many scopes in this category to examine in detail, here's look at just a few of the lines of such scopes and their basic features:

• The Klassik Line: This line attempts to bring back many of the characteristics of the first Schmidt & Bender Scopes. They feature sights with variable magnification, ranging from 2 1/2 to 16 times, in both illuminated and non-illuminated versions. They are made of decorative anodized aluminum and are focused on long-range precision.
• The Exos Line: This line features two scopes - one with between one and eight times magnification and the other with between three and 21 times magnification. Both also have a CC mode for use at close range.
• The Polar T96 Line: This is a newer line of scopes from Schmidt & Bender, and they are extremely transmissive, allowing even small amounts of light to be useful in lining up a shot. Scopes in this line work at between 2 1/2 and 16 times magnification.

Lastly, here are a few lines of Schmidt Bender scopes built for police and military uses:

• PM II: These scopes run the gamut from offering anywhere between 3 and 50 times magnification. They have a vast array of turrets and laser filters.
• PM II High Power: The two scopes in this line feature between 3 and 27 times, and between 5 and 45 times magnification, respectively. They are meant to be used by high-powered rifles at very long ranges.
