    Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Nook

I researched first before getting this. It took some time to decide on the Nook but to be fair I have to do pros and cons. The Pros It's lightweight. It is lighter than a Kindle and takes some practice to get used to. It's sleek design can have you miss it due to its thinness. The screen is nice and bright. In the Nook App you can change the screen colors for the book you are reading. The range goes from white to black with a few other colors in between. It has all the apps a Samsung Tab 4 would have and a few features iPad mini lacks. Security offers a variety of choices from pattern to pin and password too. If you don't mind your front facing camera watching you while you read (it looks at your eyes to determine if you are looking at the screen) it delays the screensaver based on usage. The Cons It has a bit of light bleed around the edges but it's not as bad as some of the light bleed with other Nook incarnations. The biggest con for me is when I used the Bible. The links for different chapters are hard to use. The bookmarks aren't clearly defined. It lists contributors and is organized by page numbers not by date of entry. The second biggest con was having to log in my email address. I feel that should be optional not part of the sign up process. I get to hear every annoying whistle for every email that comes in. After all of this, it has a pretty good battery life. Then again I don't use it for video or internet so results may vary there. It comes loaded with tons of apps. It has a text to voice feature but I have not mastered it to date. It has an expandable memory so pop in a clean micro sd card and it expands up to 32gb. This is good reader but it doesn't quite rank excellent to me. I enjoy it and use it daily but I would like to see some changes including a built in stylus for the Nook Tab 4 7". Overall I am glad I have the Nook. I look forward to using it and understanding how it works.

Great Size for Mobility. Snappy Performance.

I purchased this tablet to use while traveling. The 10.1 inch size I have for home browsing and games is just a bit too large to comfortably take along in my bag. And it is wi-fi only. This one is connected wherever there is a 4G network! I had zero problems getting it activated at AT&T, which was also a plus. For my traveling needs, the Samsung Galaxy 4 8" tablet is pretty perfect. Not only is it a good size for on-the-go, but it also effortlessly handles the tasks I most often need it for. Battery life is great. Although 16GB of internal storage is not really enough, you can expand it with up to a 64GB micro-SD card. It comes loaded with apps that you may or may not find useful. Those are just there for the life of the device. If you detest "bloatware," then this tablet may not be for you. However, I personally have found a good many of the pre-loaded apps to be very useful. Being able to rely on 4G networks when not within range of wi-fi is invaluable. It isn't a phone, no, but I knew that when I bought it. The release date for this device is April 2014, so it's getting a little long in the tooth, specs-wise. In my experience with Samsung, that really isn't a negative. I had a Galaxy Note 8" tablet (2013) that I absolutely dogged to death. It lasted for over three years of hard use - and was actually better built than the 2016 Samsung Tab A 10.1" with S Pen that replaced it. If I have a single quibble about this particular model, it is that the touch screen isn't quite a sensitive as my other tablets or my cell phone, and there is no setting to adjust sensitivity. That takes a little getting used to, but now that I'm acquainted with it, I don't really notice the difference. All in all, a good buy and a great product!

Excellent 8" Tablet for the money.

I bought this tablet as a replacement for a 2 or 3 year old LG G Pad 7" I had bought for my daughter. I am very pleased with this tablet as it is a general all around improvement over the older tablet. While it is not necessarily noticeably faster in general tasks, the screen is larger and crisper, better color rendition in my opinion. Some tasks in the software run faster than the older tablet by a lot, other more or less the same. The amount of available storage out the box is comparable. She is thoroughly enjoying this newer upgraded tablet. The only downsides I can see with this tablet compared to the old, is that the battery doesn't appear to last nearly as long as the older tablet (odd considering how old the older tablet already is and it would be safe to assume the aged battery should not last that long either), but also the sound is not that clear out of the lone rear speaker and the volume doesn't appear to get as loud. But the battery issue might be the cause of the larger brighter screen and the lackluster sound might be the fault of the case we put her tablet in hindering the sound some.

    Like my tablet

First off, I have an S4 so I'm not really up with the times but I specifically wanted an 8 inch screen so my options were limited. I love this tablet. Now functionally I like it better than my ipad because they don't run certain programs. The one bad thing is that it functions more like a phone as far as viewing some pages in a mobile format but I really don't have any complaints because I basically love my phone I just wanted a larger screen. I use it to watch movies, read articles and surf. I do not use it for work purposes (so I can't review that part of it.) I really love it and get lots of use out of it. I'm very happy with my purchase.

    Lightweight with good features.

Tablet is excellent. It only froze one time while switching between guest and my account and the battery isn't long, but it isn't short either. Its just in between. Although I wished it was like the tab 3 with the voice command to change the music and etc, other than that, I love this tablet! I've always wanted this tablet and it was a good price. I already bought a durable case and screen protector for this tablet. It's very fast now and everyone that see this tablet won't stop staring at it. Maybe they think its a phone lol. I'm not a fan of a 7in, I prefer 8in, but this 7in tablet isn't as bad as I thought it would be. I might order another for my hubby!

    Samung Galaxy 10

I have 2 of these. I bought one for myself and my fiancée kept using it, so I went on E-bay and bought him one so I could have mine back. I don't have anything bad to say about it. I love using it and can do just about anything on it. One drawback is that I can't get my Office Outlook mail on it because there's no way I can download it that I know of. Otherwise I would just use the tablet and not my big computer. I really like the convenience because I can watch TV and still look at Facebook or play my games. I think it has a good picture and I bought extra memory so it works great for me.

    Great bang for the buck

I've wanted to play around for an android tablet for a while and was going to get a really cheap one off amazon. After doing some digging, i found that a lot of the off brand tablets have adware on them that can't be removed without rooting the device i decided to go for a known quantity and get a brand name. This samsung tablet hasn't disappointed. It's great if you're expecting to use for quick facebooking, chromecast streaming, and not super heavy productivity work. It's become a nice little companion for meetings to take notes paired with the bamboo spark. All in all, i love this little guy!

The little computer that easily surpasses a laptop

I use computers for almost everything I do on a daily basis; this 8" tablet easily does everything I need to do, with excellent battery life and clear to excellent graphics. From simple emails to complex data entry and even spread sheets and power point projects, it doesn't let me down. I have installed a 64 gbyte micro SD drive, which allows me to store a very large amount of data. The tablet allows me the freedom and performance I once thought was only available in an expensive laptop. Thanks Samsung, you've done it again.

    Great for the Grandkids

Although I bought this originally to see pictures from a OTG hub card reader for my memory cards from my Trail Cameras, only to find out it has a USB NOT Supported. Very disappointed in this especially after buying the card reader that was adaptable to it. Other than this it is worth the money , so the grandkids are enjoying it. Yes I do know a smartphone can read OTG hub card readers I just need to get my husband to give up his flip phone and get with the Smart Phones.

    Nice for games via wifi

I bought this to play a handful of mobile games that I used to play on my phone so I could have my phone back as a phone. And for that purpose this device is absolutely brilliant. The display is excellent - sure its not the newest or most advanced tablet available. But the picture is clear, crisp - details are nice and colors are accurate and clean. I'd do it again without hesitation.
