Plush foam pads the interior sock of the Jordan Air Mae White W's raised upper, contrasting the hard look of the underfoot's jagged edges. A webbed lacing system engulfs the mesh overlays on each side of its body, providing a simple set of pulleys that can be used to tighten or loosen the shoe at will. Under the Jordan Air Mae White W's cream lining on the midfoot, an elongated Air pocket sits in the lateral heel to enhance the outsole's bounce. Pairing with this Air pocket on the forefoot is a collection of two smaller cushioning sections. A textured loop on the ankle's crown completes the design.
