This special low-top version of the Air Jordan 1 sports blue, gray, and black colorways and achieves its peculiar construction with the use of a combination of Nike Regrind and Crater Foam material, the latter of which gives the shoe its name. The upper is made from tightly woven grey synthetic fabric and a series of black suede overlays. The overlays wind around the toebox, reach up the midfoot, run parallel to the tongue, and wrap around the heel. The toebox and side are both gray, and the interior is made of soft blue synthetic fabric. The tongue is black with a blue Jumpman logo. The Nike Swoosh on the side is gray and dotted with tiny spots of all different colors.
